SNSD

 

SNSD - Girls' Generation or SNSD is a group of South Korean female singers formed by SM Entertainment in 2007. They consist of nine members: Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun.

Fans often refer to them as SNSD, an abbreviation of the name of this group in Korean, "So Nyeo Shi Dae". Official fan club of Girls' Generation called S NE (소원) taken from the title track in their first album.This group has released three studio albums and three mini-albums in Korea, one studio album in Japan and various singles.  

Their hits singles in 2009, "Gee" no position. 1 on the charts music program on KBS Music Bank for nine consecutive weeks, making it the record holder as the longest song in a position no. A ladder track.  

They also won various awards in 2009 and 2010, including Artist of the Year award (Daesang) at the Seoul Music Awards, the Golden Disk Awards, Melon Music Awards, and the Korean Cultural Entertainment Awards. 

Girls' Generation debuted in the Japanese music scene in 2010 under the auspices of Nayutawave Records label, part of Universal Music, to release a Japanese version of their hits "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)" and "Gee".
